I love Rite Aid's "Single Check Rebate" program. Every week they have new rebate offers in their ad. You enter your receipt information online and then once a month request your rebate check. I've never had a problem with the rebates. They are the easiest ones I've ever done. A lot of weeks they have items that are Free After Rebate (FAR).
This week is probably not the best example since the only FAR item they have is toothpaste but here is a link to "Single Check Rebates."
I usually go every week and get every FAR item. So yes, I have bought Depends and I have looked really funny buying pregnancy tests and feminine hygiene pads when I'm obviously 6 months pregnant. But free is good. And free is also doing something for our community because I keep a box in my storage room that I fill with my FAR items. When the box gets full I donate them to the local woman's shelter. So now I've bought my soul back from the devil by helping others but I also get a tax deductible receipt for the retail value of the items I have donated. I'd still do it if it weren't for the tax deduction but I figure that's just an added bonus like tithing being tax deductible.
