This will probably be the most personal (and rambling) post you'll ever get from me but it explains why I haven't posted any bargains in the past 2 months. See, in order to have bargains for you, I have to have been shopping or online. Shopping - the only store I've stepped foot in for about 2 months was Walmart and I think I've only been there 2 times. Online - I haven't been online but maybe once a week for the past 2 months.
Bedrest
For those of you who don't know (and those who keep eyeing my chubby tummy), we're thrilled to annonce that I am 4 months pregnant. Unfortunately, I was on partial bedrest for about 6 weeks, off for 10 days, and then on full bedrest for the past 4 weeks which is why we haven't announced anything yet.
Guilt & Gratitude
I am VERY thankful for my husband. In most marriages there are times when one partner has to give more than 100% but rarely does one have to give 200% like he's done for the past 2 months. He's done a wonderful job and hasn't complained once. I do admit that we have eaten out/taken out a lot more than usual and he did ask that I have someone come in and clean once a week to ease the load he's been carrying. Other than that he has done EVERYTHING on top of trying to get some projects finished so we can put our house up for sale. He's the most wonderful husband and daddy anyone could ever have. He's come home from work to a messy, messy house and just started cleaning up, made all the meals, done the laundry and taken care of the kids. He's always done his fair share of housework and taking care of the kids.
I also have to say that I am very grateful to my mother-in-law. She'll probably kill me for posting this. Actually, I don't think she knows about my blog, so I may be safe. She's a few years shy of 70 and shortly after I was put on full bedrest she came and cleaned my entire house in 2 days. That was almost after 2 months of it being just picked up and kept in livable condition. She cleaned 3 bathrooms, cleaned the kid's rooms, stripped all sheets, did all my laundry, ironed all the clothes in my very overflowing ironing basket, swept and mopped everything. After this she made dinner for 18 people and then cleaned up afterwards. And I'm sure I'm missing something. I don't think she sat down the entire time she was here. I felt very guilty laying around while she cleaned everything and took care of my kids. I'm also amazed at how much she can do. I think she probably got more done in those two days then I usually can. Granted, she was probably very relieved to go home afterwards. So a BIG thanks to my mother-in-law.
